From the page:

-- Labour MP has introduced a Bill to consign 'sexually explicit' men's magazines to the top shelves of newsagents' shops, alongside hardcore pornography. Neil Tweedie examines her case, while a 'Daily Telegraph' writer and the editor of 'Nuts' set out their opposing views. --

Good audio. Wasn't Celia Walden in FHM once?

You can't buy hardcore porn in newsagents - just Razzle, Penthouse and the sort. Er, apparently.

These mags are harmless - they pander to a demographic that enjoys their content. They're purile, full of boobs but hardly a threat to society as we know it.

I've seeded a BBC alternate lads mag that has some amusing comments in it ;)

Such as:

The point about defecating mentioned in the first comment is all about laughing at sexual habits and if you laugh at things, they aren't so scary or weird. Your prudish Ms Thomas obviously hasn't heard that it actually does happen in plenty of bedrooms!

So ... have you been defecating on your partner last night?

I'm familiar with the article in question (sadly).

It's a "humourous" piece that suggests all sorts of depraved acts that really shouldn't be performed by anyone. It's in the same vein as Roger's Profanisaurus (can't link, it's probably blocked by my work firewall) which came from the British adult comic Viz.

It's not exactly high art but the images in those types of magazines only reflect the sort of thing you can see every day in the Sun or Star
