From the page:

-- With her braided hair coming out from the side of her head and her long legs revealing years of bruises and scars, Jane Eloy made her way down the runway at a Copacabana Beach hotel last week with an enormous grin.

After years of working as a prostitute on this city's meanest streets, Eloy, 31, was showing off brightly colored skirts, G-strings and other clothes that she and about a dozen of her colleagues had designed for the fashion line Daspu. --

I thought we were currently coming out of the 'drug addict chic' in the states; teddy tops and sagging pajama bottoms. Who knew.
Now I have to run down to find a whore store someplace : )

Now this links to a commercial looking page with loads of links. Are we being "seed-spammed"?

Why would anybody be interested in prostitute wear? Didn't we just re-surface from crack whore chic? Just curious, I guess.

At the time of seeding the article, way back in July, there was an article about the aforementioned subject. Apparently the article was removed.

Of course Irma, I never doubted you. But it could be the home page is taking advantage of services like Newsvine, in replacing old articles with a list of commercial links to mis-feed Google.

Benno, the links are mostly pointing to other sections of the same site, seems like some kind of index to me. I don't think it is necessarily done on purpose.

Sorry- no hall pass for me on that one.
I know that sexy is cool, but for the life of me (it could be my age) I don't think wearing sexy clothes makes someone sexy- Imagine Jerry Lewis in a high-cut aerobics leotard. Yugh.

The EYES, the knowledge, the contact, the insinuation, poise, closeness (is it getting steamy in here?)- That makes something sexy, not this ruffly silk and lace chemise I wear under my suit...
