This isn't getting nearly enough press in Australia. It amounts to a system of slave labour, and it should be on the front pages. As for the sex ban I don't see how they'd enforce it, but ...

I'm sure this doesn't only happen in Australia. I've seen sad cases over here in Belgium as well. Some of those cases involved Chinese as well. Not too long ago, I seed an article about Chinese 'students' ...

As for the sex ban ... I don't know ... it might be enough to be closely watched, and intimidated. No need to actually enforce it then.

I'm sure there are threats contained in the contracts they sign. Maybe with no force in law, but if you don't have the money or education to understand that, it becomes irrelevant.
