Egypt on Thursday finally banned all female circumcision, the widely-practised removal of the clitoris which just days ago cost the life of a 12-year-old girl.

finally, let us hope a trend will begin on this. I know very little about the reasons it is happening or the people who believe in it but I find it difficult to believe that a sane person would advocate such an action.
