The assassination of Benazir Bhutto threatens to plunge a nuclear armed Pakistan into civil war, opposition groups warned today.

The former prime minister was killed by a suicide bomber as she left a public rally in the city of Rawalpindi today.

Commentators said the killing would make the postponement of the upcoming elections almost certain and could spark further unrest.

It's up to the Pakistanis themselves to determine the fate of their nation. I just hope our military is dusting off the plans for taking out Pakistani-nukes, just in case.

The seeded article comes from the Independent. I wrote an article earlier today suggesting much the same thing. My implication was that it was good of the Indepdendent to catch up with us Social Media types.

Nothing directed at you Rob.
